The Floria and Other Historic Luggers

The Floria is one of the few surviving pearling luggers of the far north, a reminder of a long gone, but very important, part of life in tropical Queensland. Built in 1914 it was recovered from the bottom of Cairns Harbour and is being restored by the local Maritime Museum.
