Rolling a Thread

This little book does not contain any projects. It just teaches you to make your own thread for hand sewing.

Commercial leather sewing thread is of a standard thickness, and may not be appropriate for every hand sewing job you have. Making your own thread for hand sewing leather is a dying art. Most people choose to purchase commercial thread and put up with it's limitations. If you can make your own waxed thread, it gives you the freedom to customize your work.

The information in this book is also contained within the book HAND SEWN LEATHER PROJECTS, which covers making the thread, and also gives you projects to do.
