This is a book for the beginner, the person who feels that they would like to learn to sketch a horse but has not had any training.
The beginner is shown a simple method which will allow them to construct the general shape of the horse, and then the various steps are explained as to how to develop this into a painting, a pencil study or an ink drawing. Watercolour can be a very complicated art, but if it is approached in a series of simple steps then it can be practised by anyone of any age, as long as they are willing to take the time.
