The Rams Skull Press is the oldest privately owned publishing house in Australia, and the exclusive publishers of books by Ron Edwards OAM in Australia.

The Rams Skull Press has been owned and operated by the Edwards family since 1950, and has established itself as an important component in the preservation of Australia’s cultural heritage. We continue to publish the largest selection of Australian folklore and ballads written, thus keeping this information available for all to enjoy.

We also publish and distribute to the retail market from our website arguably the largest range of books on the subjects of Bushcraft and Leathercraft in the world.  We have over 170 titles available on a variety of subjects – something for everyone. Our books are printed and bound in house, proudly hand made in Australia.

Based just west of Brisbane in the Brisbane Valley, as well as our regular work publishing books by Ron Edwards and a selection of other authors, we welcome enquiries for short run book publishing.
